turn us toward our Lord of glory, point the path for truth and life.

Grace alone—God’s sovereign kindness, offered freely unto me

Gift of God, my only merit, all my hope and all my plea.

Grace unearned and unrequited lavished fully for my soul.

Not the deeds of saints or sinners, only mercy makes me whole.

Seated now, His work completed, hail the perfect sacrifice!

Earthly priests and human service, never ending, always flawed.

Only Christ can cleanse and hear us, grant us access to our God.

Filthy rags, my own attainments, cannot make me pure within.

Trusting in the words of heaven, only way to please my King.

Constant, living trust in Jesus, life the river, faith the spring.

God alone receives the glory—He designed salvation’s plan,

paid the price, and wrote the story, praise the King who rescues man.

Not one providence has faltered, no design has been recast.

Every knee will bow before Him, God, in Christ extolled at last!
