Sonnet IV

Recall the echoes through the crypts of time,

The constant beat of strength and kindness there,

The words of beauty to a world of grime,

The music too majestic to compare:

His treasured thoughts, unchanged in every age,

The breaths of God concealed within a Book.

He chose to write His heart on every page—

Unrivaled beauty to the ones who look.

Inside, the sound of deepest love surrounds—

Good will, desire, harmonized in song,

His voice to drown the din where sin abounds

And woo His wayward children back from wrong.

His dreams are still the same as they were then:

The God of Heaven longs to dwell with men.
