We come with food before You

to bear Your grace to mind,

Your ever free provision

Your lavish goodness kind.

We join You in our feasting

and share Your presence here;

For we are blessed and holy,  

when You are wholly near.

We praise for taste and texture

for meat and bread and more,

provision graced with plenty

You grant us from Your store.

Oh let our feast and converse

be graciously impressed

by Your imprint of goodness

on such unworthy guests.

–

With blessings You surround us

with sunshine and with rain,

with crops that grow and flourish

with kindly gifts of gain.

Lord may these mercies bring us

to praise Your lavish love.

For we would fail and falter

unless we look above.

–

We bring our best before You

to share before Your face;

as firstfruits of creation

restored by matchless grace.

Our hearts and hands are toward You

we praise the worthy name,

and pray that all creation

will bow and own the same.

–

We ask Your new provision

for all our bodies need,

for food and drink and shelter

come only if You please.

We come before You Father,

and gratefully confess,

we lean on Your provision

and trust Your faithfulness.
