Dear Readers,
We are pleased to announce to you the release of our first (and, at the current rate, possibly last) chapbook.
For nearly a decade, we have been working on an Easter themed chapbook. Year after year, we would write new Easter poems and store them in this dusty, online vault, talking vaguely about some future, official compilation. Then—finally—last year we sat down in person and scoped out the themes and arrangement of an actual book for Easter. We set to work, and in true Melenorian fashion, here is the result—Wintertide—not a collection of Easter poems (as you’ve probably noticed), but of winter and Christmas ones (because when it comes right down to it, it’s easier to make yourself do something you’re not trying to do).
The chapbook contains over 40 poems celebrating winter, Christmas, and New Year’s and is dedicated to you, our readers. Though you may be few in number, your presence and acknowledgment of our work encourages us to keep writing, and in that way, you are part of what we do. Thank you for sticking with us!
We wish you the merriest of Christmases—rich in the knowledge of goodness, truth, and beauty.
Happy wintertide!
-Holli (and Ethan)
P.S. If you are so inclined, you can purchase a copy of Wintertide here. 🙂
